RED HOT - A Must-See play duirng 14th Bharat Rang Mahotsav 2012 || An Amazing Indian Theatre Play

14th Bharat Rang Mahotsav 2012 started last week and still it's going on. Various plays from different regions of the world are shown in various auditoriums like Kamani, SRC, LTG, Sammukh, Abhimanch etc. RED HOT was one of the best plays showcased during Bharangam 2012. Tickets for RED HOT play were booked in few hours and many of the folks could not see this play. Here is a quick Photo Journey for those folks and don't miss it next time...In RED HOT, the main character Parminder Singh Sethi meets three ladies outside his house and most of the scenes are around different types pf conversations, as per different personalities of these ladies. First lady, the one in red saari, was his client at his restaurant. She used to come frequently to his restaurant in Khan Market, Delhi. One fine day, he invited her for a date at his mom's house, which is usually empty till 8:30 pm on weekdays. This lady was quite straight, while Mr. Sethi was nervous and was talking about random things. At the same time, this lady got irritated by Mr. Sethi's discussions and left the house. After few minutes, she enters again and again same story got repeated. Dialogs and punches in this play and awesome. One of the best plays I have seen so far. Whole set was also created very well. Very small things were taken care for lighting the set according to various scenesIn case you want to have a look at detailed Photo Journeys from each Date of Mr. Sethi, anytime click on thotographs here and you will be landed to relevant Photo Journey with more details about each date and characteristics of each lady Mr. Sethi meHere is a photograph from Sethi's second date with a bubbly girl, who met him at the park when she asked for machis/cigarette. Since she talks so much Sethi asked her to meet sometime at his Mom's place and she had no clue that it's going to be a date. She was a model who was also indulged in blackmailing people. Mr. Sethi was worried after listening to her telephonic calls. Personally I liked this part of the play, because of marvelous dialogs, punches and brilliant delivery by Saurabh Shukla and Mona Wasu. And probably this was something most of delhite could relate to :)Usually Sethi don't smoke but after knowing the benefits of smoking, he thought of trying one and danced with second lady during end of this section of RED HOT... Soon Mona Wasu gets a call from one of the producer to be present on set within next 30 minutes and she left Sethi at home... Again Mr. Sethi was disappointed for the fact that he could not make this evening memorable :)Red Hot play, directed by Saurabh Shukla, follows the travails of Parminder Singh Sethi (Saurabh Shukla), who`s suffering from a midlife crisis. He owns a restaurant at Khan Market, New Delhi which isn't doing very well. Parminder is bored to death with the mundane routine of his life. He feels as though life has passed him by, and he has nothing left to look forward to.Now he`s seriously considering to indulge, thinking it might bring some excitement back into his life. However, indulging with a woman is much easier said than done. In the processes of making his fantasies a reality, Parminder meets THREE WOMEN.... And the hell breaks loose! This is how RED HOT can be defined..Third and last date of Mr. Sethi was closet friend of his wife, who was in depression and kept talking about things like Good & Bad, Right or Wrong etc. Finally she made Sethi realize that all such things in life are short term and we should always find happiness in small things around our life, family and work. This is one of the main truth of happy life rather keep following random things, which are temporary in natureBelow are some of the videos I found on youtube about the rehearsal sessions of RED HOT play by Saurabh Shukla, Nigar Khan, Mona Wasu and Prieti... Check out these and you will get an idea about awesome music used in RED HOT play

Check out these and you will get an idea about awesome music used in RED HOT play

Third and last date of Mr. Sethi was closet friend of his wife, who was in depression and kept talking about things like Good & Bad, Right or Wrong etc. Finally she made Sethi realize that all such things in life are short term and we should always find happiness in small things around our life, family and work. This is one of the main truth of happy life rather keep following random things, which are temporary in nature.
