Travelling-Camera on Road Journey from Sujanpur to Palampur : PART-4: Posted by VJ on www.travellingcamera.com : Here is the next series of Photographs from Road Journey in Himachal Pradesh. Check out PART-1, PART-2 and PART-3 of this journey before proceeding further...After Sujanpur, here comes the road towards Palampur with more curves, green-tunnels, bridges, water-reservoirs...There are lot many small rivers on the way to Palampur from Sujanpur-Tira in Himachal Pradesh statet of INDIA... All these views made this drive more cheerful on wide roads...There are some beautiful hills on the way which are different from other regions like Shimla, Dharmshala, Manali and Dalhousie... When I was crossing this region, I had SHOLE in my mind...Ladies carrying water in colorful containers...Its really a shame on Himachal Government that basic problem of water has not been resolved since last 40 Years... There are still many regions where one family needs to bring water from long distances and need to manage with 10 Buckets per family... There are lot many water resources in the state but in summers many of the villages don't get water supply, I don't know why? At the same time, there are some areas where water is wasted in cleaning cars n other stupid activities... But its sad that Himachal Government is more indulged in industrialization rather than thinking about basic problems of rural areas... Probably industries can fulfill the personal needs of our politicians... Let me stop now, otherwise I will continue to write about water crisis in Himachal during Summers...There are lot many small towns on the way to Palampur when we are coming from Hamirpur via Sujanpur-Tira... This is some place near Palampur... I don't remember the name of this place but here onwards roads are in plain regions comparatively and we start seeing snow capped hills...We were able to see Snow covered hills from this road, but high variation of light was not supporting to capture white hills in my camera... But there will lot of Snow-capped hills in my next post on Palampur... So Watch out for next post on PHOTO JOURNEY...WagonR, a very popular car by Maruti, on the way to Palampur... He wanted race with Hundai i10... But my friend was not interested after 10 minutes of struggle to stop him moving ahead of us... He just crossed and we stopped racing :) Bus @ Vyas Bridge, which is going to Palampur from Sujanpur....Private Buses in Himachal are very well maintained and better than buses I have seen in UP, MP, Delhi and Rajasthan... We had few friends in Ford Fusion who gave him hard competition till Palampur.... Their reward was to wait for us for more than 45 minutes after reaching Palampur :-)There is no photograph of Palampur in this particular post.. I will be posting few photographs of Palampur tomorrow... Watch out...
