Albuquerque Downtown is one of the most populated area in terms of graffiti arts across the town. Apart from that Uptown, Old Town, Walk from Downtown to Old Town, Indian Pueblo Cultural Centre etc have lot of graffitis. I could notice graffitis at random places across the town and at times noticed some of the restaurants have got done these graffitis all around their spaces.

Graffiti is writing or drawings made on a wall or other surfaces. Graffiti ranges from simple written words to elaborate wall paintings and it has existed since ancient times, with examples dating back to ancient Egypt, ancient Greece, and the Roman Empire. Did you ever think behind the history of this culture of making graffiti.

In modern times, spray paints and marker pens have become the most commonly used graffiti materials across the world.

Looking at all these graffiti, it seems Albuquerque regulations are pretty friendly for graffiti artists and the related community to like indulging in such activities, which may not be a case with cities and townships.

Graffiti art is one of the popular art forms across the world and with time it's gaining more popularity because of opportunities it provides to artists to express their creative ideas on a much wider canvas.

Graffiti images can't express the real impact of the actual art on these walls. If you carefully notice the height of this wall and the size of the graffiti, you would be able to appreciate it much better - especially the amount of planning goes behind creating a perfect graffiti as per dimensions and shape of the wall. It may sound trivial but it's not because at times, you have to fit a theme with constraints like dimension, size and colour of the wall.

Above graffiti is close to Albuquerque Convention Center and if you notice the strokes of the artists in this one, it's very different than what you have been seeing above. The finer strokes of the brush are amazing and personally I loved the way different things in this graffiti are merging so well to crease a surreal effect.

Some of the graffitis on the way from Albuquerque Downtown and Old Town were very interesting and made me think what goes behind the scene in Artists mind when they create these diverse graffitis. At times, it's pretty challenging to interpret these art forms. Like what exactly comes to your head by looking at above graffiti from Albuquerque town of New Mexico in USA? Please drop a comment about your thoughts on this.

Above photograph was clicked from one of the bus stops around Albuquerque bus-stand. I was waiting for bus to go to New Mexico University campus and noticed this graffiti just across the bus stop. Albuquerque town is full of these graffitis in public as well as private spaces & one must keep an eye on these interesting pieces of the art-works.

If you liked this post and found it helpful, I would request you to follow these things when traveling -

1. Manage your waste well and don’t litter Use dustbins.
2. Tell us if you went to a place and found it hard to locate a dustbin.
3. Avoid bottle waters in hills. Usually you get clean water in hills and water bottles create lot of mess in our ecosystem.
4. Say big no to plastic and avoid those unhealthy snacks packed in plastic bags. Rather buy fruits.
5. Don't play loud blaring music in forests of jungle camps. You are a guest in that ecosystem and disturbing the locals (humans and animals) is not polite
