Ahmad Shah's Tomb is also known as Badshah no Hajiro or Raja no Hajiro which essentially means King's Mausoleum. Ahmad Shah's tomb is situated close to Jama Mosque and Manek Chowk. It's actually in middle of these 2 places. One can come from Jam Masjid and enter into the area where Ahmed Shah's Tomb is and then if you go ahead you hit Manek Chowk which is also popular for it's Night Market. Manek Chowk is the place which has lot of Jewellers shops during the day and when market is closed, this whole space is occupied by food kiosks. The mosque at Ahmed Shah's Tomb has the main square building with large central dome. There are four chambers at all four corners with smaller domes. When we were visiting Raja No Hajiro, a lady outside mentioned that Vibha can't go in. Women are not allowed to enter inside the tomb and men must cover their heads before entering. I was wearing shorts, so I was told to cover my legs with a piece of cloth. There are also tombs of a few ministers laid across the road. When we were walking around old part of Ahmedabad city, we didn't know about this spot. When we visited Rani No Hajiro, the care-taker told us a little about the story behind it and then also directed us to this direction. We loved walking around this street and it was nice to see this small structure being maintained well.
