Above photograph shows one of the piers from where one can take a boat. We were in the boat you see with green roof. Usually you can book such 2 hours boat rides from your hotel reception and these tours provide pick & drop from/to your hotel. It costs 200 Bahts per person which is a pretty good deal. On arriving in Ayutthaya in the morning, we booked this tour for the afternoon and everything was managed by our hotel manager. It's super convenient to plan & book this boat ride through your hotel. Usually these boat rides are available during early mornings and around sunset hour. I am sure there are multiple tour operators who must be offering different timings and private tours as well in fancier boats. We noticed some pretty fancy boats on our way.
