Extended Stay America, San Carlos - Good option for longer stays

As the name signifies, Extended Stay America are hotels in USA which offer space for folks traveling for a longer period of time from other parts of the world or states of America. For my last few visits to San Francisco Bay Area, I have been staying in these hotels and certainly had reasonably good stay because of multiple reasons.

Kitchenette in the room - You can get a room with Kitchenette equipped with Refrigerator, Stove, Microwave, Toaster and kind of utensils you would need during your stay. Staff - Staff at San Carlos Extended Stay America is very courteous and it's always pleasure interacting with them. Always have smiles on the face and ready to help in best possible way. I ordered various things to be delivered at hotel and the staff always delivered stuff on time. They reminded as they noticed me coming into the hotel or going out of it.

There is a grocery store close-by from where you can get appropriate stuff for your stay. Apart from the grocery shop, the shopping complex also has Best Buy, Ross, TJ Max, Chipotle, Starbucks etc. Internet Services - There are 2 internet options. A free internet to check basic apps for your emails & messaging. And the other option is paid internet with better speed. I never got the higher speed connection but watched videos on youtube on the speed available with free connection. Although there are complaints that internet doesn't work in some of the rooms. How to commute from here ? - Caltrain station - There is 20 minutes walk from San Carlos Extended Stay to Redwood City Caltrain station. You heard is right, Redwood City station is closer in comparison to San Carlos station. Uber/Lyft - Having uber or Lyft is most convenient if you want to move around. Google is best friend to locate public transportation schedule, pricing and timings. Breakfast & Coffee - For breakfast, you would get coffee, muffins & Snack bars. Coffee is available 24*7. Apart from this, don't expect anything else. There is no restaurant or any other facilities. Cleanliness - Overall space is clean and never faced issues related to dirty stuff around the rooms or hotel. Beds are usually well maintained, with clean linen and towels. Service - Room service is not very frequent. During my stay for 2 weeks, room service is provided twice. But if you need to change towels or need soap/shampoo, reach out to staff at reception. Overall stay at Extended Stay America has been pretty good, especially when I got used to the facilities available and the ones not available.
