While driving towards Twin Peaks from San Carlos, we came across heavy traffic jam which was little strange for me. I have seen these situations in Indian cities but never imagined a traffic jam in California. And it's mainly about the infra and population comparison. But unfortunately California is getting pretty crowded and every individual needs a car. Good public transportation in India balances the continuously increasing population in main cities but still it's a huge issue.

The North and South Twin Peaks are also known as 'Eureka' and 'Noe' respectively. It's usually very windy around Twin peaks, so it's highly recommended to carry jacket even in summers. For that matter, carrying a jacket in San Francisco is must irrespective of the weather.

Here is a brilliant view San Francisco City - from small houses to huge buildings on the other. Pacific Ocean and the mountains are on other side of the city. If you look through this straight road and notice a small white tower on other end, it's the famous Ferry Building of San Francisco.

Here is another view from Twin peaks and this one is little away from San Francisco Downtown area. This view reminded me of various hill stations in India which are almost completely covered by concrete. Shimla is one of such towns which is full of buildings and there are very few green patches.

These Twin peaks also form a divide for the summer coastal fog pushed in from the Pacific Ocean. And usually these hills are pretty windy. If you are not prepared well, you can't spend more than few minutes on these peaks.

I really enjoyed my visit to Twin Peaks and wish to go there again, when I little more to walk around these hills and make best of the natural beauty around these.
