After using Honor 6, Honor 7 Plus, Honor 5X and Honor 5C within the family I got a chance to try out Honor 6X. Like Honor 7 Plus, Huawei P9 and Honor 8, 6X also has dual camera and I am most excited about that. More than that Huawei has launched dual camera phones at little premium cost but it's expected that 6X would be available at reasonable cost and more details would be available when it's launched in India on 24th Jan. This post shares a quick preview about the specifications of Honor 6X and what makes it one of the most anticipated mid-range phone in 2017.

Above is the quick glance of Honor 6X Android phone. The Huawei Honor 6X is powered by octa-core Kirin 655 processor and comes with 3GB of RAM. The phone packs 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card. Honor 6X runs Android 6.0 and is powered by a 3340mAh non removable battery. In terms of size and wt, it's 150.90 x 72.60 x 8.20 (height x width x thickness) and weighs 162.00 grams.
As far as the cameras are concerned, the Huawei Honor 6X packs a 12-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 8-megapixel front shooter for selfies. Rear camera comes with f/2.2 lens, while the other secondary 2-megapixel rear camera handles depth of field and background blur. Huawei P9 had lieca lens but Honor 6X is using Sony IMX 386 lens, which is great for a midranger.
The Huawei Honor 6X is a dual SIM (with 2 GSM slots) smartphone that accepts Nano-SIMs. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth. Sensors on the phone include Proximity sensor, Accelerometer and Ambient light sensor.
I am yet to explore more with the phone and will be sharing a post with photographs clicked with different modes of Honor 6X camera. As always, Camera and battery remains 2 extremely important features for me. So stay tuned for more on Honor 6X...
