The Great Indian Chai Experience || Teasta, The Tea Shop

They serve tea. They serve coffee. They serve sandwiches. They serve muffins. But they aren't your regular cafe. Teasta - The Tea Shop is "the" place. Popular hangout for college goers and perfect after-office gathering point for MNC employees, the shop is swarming with customers, mostly youngsters every evening.

And all that when it doesn't even have proper seating arrangements. People sit on pavements, iron rails, and if one is lucky, moodas outside the shop. It is all very JNU-like, minus the Aravalli backdrop and benches.
Even though one often goes there more for hanging out rather than for food, they do score several points on their menu as well. They serve a wide variety of coffees and teas. Hazelnut cold coffee is my personal favorite. I will recommend either their cold coffees or iced tea. Masala tea is average and you can get a better one at a nearby tea stall.

You can also order sandwiches to go with your coffee. The sandwiches are unpretentious and yummy. Their chicken salami cheese sandwich is simply out of this world. For vegetarians, I will recommend the cheese capsicum onion sandwich.

And if you are not so much into sandwiches, there are other options available too. You can order chicken or veg momos, both of which are quite tasty. Or you can order corn, which is tangy and buttery. What else can you ask for?

If you like their tea, you can also buy their chai patti and coffee beans, and experiment at home. Though I can assure, it will never be able to match the experience at the tea shop. Because at the tea shop, it is not only about tea. Friends, Gossip, Tea, Coffee. Food. Life is perfect!

Following are some details that may prove to be helpful:

Address: 16, Godawari Complex, Sector-37, Noida
Timing: Evening 5 to 9:30.

True. And that's the main reason why people get together at Tea Shop and have great time with friends.
