Khan Market - India's one of the costliest market || MobileGIRI at Khan Market of Capital City of India (Delhi)

Khan Market is located at strategical location of capital city of India. This popular market of India is named in honor of Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan (popularly khown as Frontier Gandhi or Badshah Khan). Khan Market is also known as one of the costliest markets in New Delhi. This Photo Journey shows some of the photographs from Khan Market which are clicked during 10 minutes of walk around this place..Khan Market has been ranked as the costliest retail location in India. In 2010 Khan Market was rated as the world's 21st most expensive retail high street by real estate firm Cushman & Wakefield. Also it's consistently ranked as one of the costliest high end streets. Khan Market is generally very colorful with various showrooms and interesting places to eat mulch-cuisine food..It was Sunday when these photographs were clicked with my Mobile, otherwise this market can never be so quite. During weekend restaurants can be found open apart from few showrooms. Whole Khan Market looks like this only. Most of the showrooms are on ground floor and restaurants on first or second floorsKhan Market is located almost at the heart of Delhi city which is quite close to India Gate. Market is surrounded by residential complexes – both government owned and private, including Golf Links, Lodhi Estate, Shahjahan Road, Pandara Road, Rabindra Nagar and Sujan Singh Park. Its environs are home to a significant number of bureaucrats from the central government and famous people like the author Khushwant Singh. It is one of the greenest parts of Delhi, which is very close to the famed Lodhi Gardens. Also in proximity are the India International Centre, the India Habitat Centre, offices of the World Wide Fund for Nature, and other organizations. Good Earth is one of the appealing showroom on the corner and I think no one can forget this one because of bright colors outside and wonderful interiors with nice stuff for Home Decor. This is three story place on one of the corners of this market. It seems there is a Cafe on third floor..Here is a website about Khan-Market which lists all possible options for shopping or other things - http://khan-market.com/ ... The biggest challenge in this market is about Car Parking which has become one of the biggest problems of this city (Delhi).Hope that above Photo Journey was able to give you some idea about Khan Market.
