Check out this PHOTO JOURNEY to know more about this wonderful holiday resort !!!A photograph showing one of the cottage at Tarangi Resort !!!Tarangi which means waves in Hindi Language is one of the wonderful places to stay in this region. There are various other resorts around the same place and not sure how well equipped they are. Tarangi Resort has huge area and very low density in terms of cottages they have. It's located between the Jim Corbett National Park on one side and the River Kosi on the other... Kosi river is very close to their restaurant, although it was not planned. I will share more details about it soon... Most of the regions at this resort are green and rich in terms of flora n fauna. It's spread over 13 acres on the bank of Kosi river.... Tarangi is probably largest Corbett Resort and I found it an ideal place to stay in for a relaxed, rejuvenating holiday... At least, it was best fit for our group of approximately 30 folks...Some of the cottages at the Tarangi Resort in Corbett are facing Kosi river and give wonderful view of river & a dense forest behind it. Overall resort is maintained in such a way that it tries to give some sense of living in wild :) ... I would not say, it's completely like that but try is of-course there...Papaya trees within the resort... Not only papaya, there were lot of other fruits around the place and some fields dedicated for growing vegetables... Tarangi is located on the banks of River Kosi which is one of the two main rivers in Corbett. This Resort is approximately 250 kms from New Delhi and part of roadside village in Corbett called, Dhikuli. Tarangi is approximately 8 kms from Ramnagar Railway Station and 4 kms from Bijrani Jungle Gate. Since this resort is spread on a huge land of 13 acres, there is a separate area with two huge grounds and nice paths around it. Whole is full of greenery and colorful flowers/plants...It seemed that grounds on other end are not in much use, as there is one well maintained ground near cottages. Most of the folks in our group were also using the same for cricket.I simply loved these colors around our Cottages !!!A view of entry to Tarangi Resort. The path on right is leading towards Kosi river by drawing a boundary line of Tarangi Resort. The other one is hitting resort reception and all the cottagesA nice plant with leaves having green color on top and red shade in bottom part.Since it's a huge area, so automating manual efforts is important :)There is no swimming pool in this resort. Although there was one which was washes away by Kosi River. Sounds of lovely birds around this place were amazing. Although we left early in morning for Safari, but during day time some birds can be seen... And I think spa is also swept by Kosi year during monsoons last year..During a quick walk of 20 mins at Tarangi, we caught various birds in our travelling-camera. Although some of them were really shy and scary, but we managed to click some of them :Some high quality bamboo was there at Tarangi and some colorful birds on top of it were making the whole thing more beautiful..Here is the cricket ground, I was talking about.. Some of the folks in our group spent most of the time on this ground...Anurag and Vaibhav walking around the cricket ground at Tarangi Resort, Jim Corbett National Park !!Overall, it was decent stay at Tarangi ... Previously I have stayed in Ram Ganga Resort, which is also a decent option around Jim Corbett National Park !!!

A view of entry to Tarangi Resort. The path on right is leading towards Kosi river by drawing a boundary line of Tarangi Resort. The other one is hitting resort reception and all the cottages.

During recent trip to Jim Corbett National Park, we stayed at Tarangi Resort. It was a weekend trip and there are very small time window to explore this place well. Although we had a round of whole resort to see all available options around.
