MobileGIRI in US with phone-camera of Honor 6x

Recently I was in US for 2 weeks with lot of things planned in office and with friends around Bay Area. First week was busy with meetings, technical discussions and various networking events in San Jose and then I had some travel plans to explore San Diego, Las Vegas and Grand Canyon. During this trip I heavily used Mobile camera and loved the ease with which I could capture most of the moments during these 2 weeks. Here I sharing some of the captured moments with quick summary of things I did. More detailed posts and travel guides would be published during next month.

I clicked 800+ photographs with my phone camera but chose to share some of the shots I have been sharing during my trip. These set of Instagram photographs would give you a good sense of kind of things I did and explored during my stay in US.

Above photograph is clicked at IGI Airport Delhi and I am very proud of the fact that we have one of the best airports in the world. It's certainly very beautiful and well maintained.

After comfortable flight from Delhi to San Francisco with halt at Dubai, we reached San Jose during afternoon and checked into Hilton. And we got very warm welcome there.  I got a basket of snacks and drinks on arrival with Thanks note from Adobe Tech Summit chairs.

Before the official things start in US, I had Sunday to meet with friends and explore Bay area. My college friend picked me from the hotel, had breakfast at his place and we headed towards Point Reyes Lighthouse. It was a brilliant day spent with Arun, Shivani and Woz. Weather was not very favourable, but we had lot of fun while driving through woods and lush green mountains.

I hardly clicked selfies, but end of a great day deserved a selfie.

I couldn't sleep on Sunday night because of jet-lag. Above photograph was clicked with Honor 6x only and it was shot at around 5am.

Listening to Adobe Funders at Adobe Tech Summit 2017 ...

Above photograph was clicked at Hakone Garden. Like every time, Lightroom mobile team had organized a photo walk and they were kind enough to include me in the same. It was fun.

First glimpse of Adobe San Jose office...

During the photo-walk we also took guided tour of Stanford University and our guide Marrisa Lopez was awesome. She is student of Stanford. Throughout the tour, she was facing us and walking backwards. Check out the video to know what I am trying to say :)

The power yoga shot !

After a busy business week, I headed to San Diego for personal trip and above photograph was clicked in Sea World. Most of the clicks with phone camera came out pretty well. There was lot of explore so I preferred phone camera over SLR, as it saved time and I didn't need to shuffle between the settings.

An evening at La Jolla Beach, San Diego . We also visited Coronado beach and both of these are awesome places in San Diego. We shall share detailed posts on these beaches.

Check out above video for Dolphin show.

In San Diego, we spent good 4 days to explore Old Town, Coronado Beach, Seaport Village, USS Marine Museum, Sea World, San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park & it's museums, La Jolla beach, Downtown, Gaslamp and walked a lot.

Next destination was Las Vegas. We took flight from San Diego airport. and it hardly takes 1hr to reach boarding gate in US airports. This was experience at San Jose, San Diego and Las Vegas airports. In comparison to Indian airports, these airports see lot less traffic in terms of people travelling on daily basis. Las Vegas would be most busy airport amongst these 3, although I am not very sure.

We took one day bus tour to South Rim of Grand Canyon. It was a good experience and details would be shared in separate post. So stay tuned for more..

Nights are more happening in Vegas...

Almost every Casino has something special. Bellagio has it's popular fountain shows and above is Venetian Casio.

Casinos are mind blowing in Las Vegas. On the very first day I felt like I came to wrong place but there is lot more to do in the city apart from Casinos and Strip clubs.

Above is the view from our flight from San Diego to Las Vegas. We took SouthWest flights in US and found them pretty good.

Overall it was a brilliant trip with busy office days and hectic travel schedule. We would be sharing detailed posts in upcoming weeks and there is high probability that we would be sharing photographs clicked with Honor 6X camera. Stay tuned for more...

Looks like Honor 6 produces stunning pictures. Having a great smartphone camera certainly makes things easier rather than lugging around heavy DSLR. Thanks for sharing these pictures.
Arv - Yes, having a phone camera always helps while travelling. You don't feel like carrying heavy camera all the time. And it happened multiple times with me. Towards the end of my trip I was clicking only with phone camera. Although various other things also play big role is taking this decision.
