Soda Bottle Openerwala at DLF Mall of India, Noida

Last week, we went for lunch at Soda Bottle Openerwala in Noida. It’s in DLF Mall of India. I had heard a lot about SBOW, especially the one in Cyberhub Gurgaon. This post shares about my experience along with few photographs. Sorry, I couldn’t click all the food items we ordered but those can be searched online or on Zomato. We reached the place by 12:30pm and it’s best time to reach if you are planning to have lunch at Soda Bottle Openerwala at DLF Mall of India in Noida. It's known for Parsi cuisine, which is served by very few Restaurants in Delhi. There were very few tables occupied at that point of time and after 30 minutes, there was long waiting queue. We got a nice circular table for 6.Since it was a working day and some of us had to reach back at 2pm, we ordered main course and drinks in one go. And here is what we ordered (at least the ones I still remember :) ) - Tareli Machhi , Chicken Baida Roti, Eggs Kejriwal, Chicken Berry Pulao, Chicken Cutlet, Pav Combo, Vegetable Berry Pulao, Dhansak. And in drinks - Masala Pepsi , Parsi Choy, Irani Faluda and Ganne nu ras. Most of the dishes come in small quantity and served in old styled steel tiffin-box. At the same time, the prices are reasonable. And most importantly, most of the dishes served are unique and have nice flavor. I liked all of their Pulao/Biryanis. Chicken Berry Pulao had juicy chicken pieces with great aroma. Egg Kegriwal is also a nice dish. It seems Mr. Arvind Kejriwal liked this dish and they renamed it. Dhansak is the way dal is cooked by Parsis. It’s a thick gravy of dal and most of us loved it. I didn’t try Chicken Cutlet, but have heard good views from folks who enjoyed it with pav.Masala Pepsi was interesting, Ganne nu ras is sweeter than usual and Parsi tea was strong tea with lot of milk. The place has nice ambiance. It’s a mixed look of a modern restaurant and an old styled Parsi shop. You would be able to recall the scenes in bollywood movies from 80s.Overall we enjoyed the meal at Soda Bottle Openerwala. Bill was around 3.5K for 6
