Holi is celebrated in big way around Mathura and Vrindavan. Almost every temple celebrates it and preparations start weeks before the main day of celebration. Huge procession happens on Holi day when people walk from one temple to another and sing Radha-Krishna songs.

In Udaipur, Holi is celebrated by royal family with Holica dahan on Holi eve. For regal experience, join in the celebration of Udaipur's Mewar royal family. Usually there is huge palace procession from the royal residence to Manek Chowk at the City Palace. This procession includes bedecked horses and royal band. Later the traditional sacred fire is lit and an effigy of Holika burnt. I am yet to experience Udaipur Holi and bring photographs through my Travellingcamera.
