Monolithic Temple of Masroor @ Kangra, Himachal Pradesh, India || A Series of Temples carved out of a huge Hill in Himalayas

During recent visit to Himachal Pradesh, I saw a unique kind of temple in north India which is carved out of a huge hill in Kangra region of Himachal Pradesh. This series of Temples is exactly situated at a village called Masrur and approximately 30 kilometers from Kangra Town and around 40 kilometers from Dharmshala. This is also known as Ellora of Himachal Pradesh. This campus of Masroor Temples has also a beautiful water pond, where clear reflections of these temples can be seen. Above photograph also gives a glimpse of temples in water reflection and real place is far more beautiful. During sunset, snow capped Dhauladhar Mountain Ranges look amazing in Orangish shades of nature. These temples are situated on a hill top and view of surrounding areas is amazing from top of these temples. For more details or Photographs of this place, check out - HERE
