Adobe celebrates "Be Involved" month with Magic Bus

At Adobe, we believe Create Change. Being involved is a core part of our company values and culture. Every year, in the month of June employees volunteer to get involved with the community.
As part of Adobe Corporate Responsibility (CSR), the Be Involved Month collaborated with Magic Bus for 'Sports for Development’.

By its very nature sport is about participation. Sports brings individuals and communities together, highlighting commonalities and bridging cultural or ethnic divides. While sport and play are repeatedly acknowledged as a human right, they are not always seen as a priority and have even been called, the "forgotten right".

"As a cultural phenomenon, sport is a mirror of society and is just as complex and contradictory."

Magic Bus recognize this fundamental right and remain dedicated to supporting every kid and youth, in delivery of sports programs that help address specific development goals.
And believes every child has the right to recreation and play in a safe and healthy environment.

The event was a ‘Sports for Development’ session followed by a 10 overs cricket match between Adobe employee volunteers and Magic Bus youth.

"All works and no play makes jack a dull boy"!!

It was time for Adobe employees to brace themselves for some cricketing action with underprivileged youth trained by community partner - Magic Bus India Foundation.
A large number of volunteers participated in the event. For sport has a unique power to attract, mobilize and inspire.

"Play and learn and grow."

It took no time for everyone kid/youth to build rapport with Adobe employees. They connected instantly.
The aim of the event was to stand at human values such as respect for the opponent, acceptance of binding rules, teamwork and fairness.

The enthusiasm, like stimulants was charismatic. With positive enthusiasm, everyone around, immediately sensed whether the ball would make them bounce in one step or increase the brightness of the multi-tude pair of eyes. No one wanted to wait to dig into whatever they were looking to accomplish or perform at.

Magic Bus is a NGO that helps develop the sports skills of underprivileged children on the field and helps them develop a spirit of sportsmanship and game spirit. It teaches the kids that not all things are learnt in the classroom alone and helps by serving as an outlet to the children after a hard day at school.

"Nothing Great was Ever Achieved without Enthusiasm"

Magic Bus actively promote awareness of the role of sport as tool for social change, and build evidence to drive further investment in the field.

A big shout to everyone who was part of this event. And Kudos to team at Magic Bus.
