My first online Shopping Experience || Jabong Made it easy for me with FREE 500 Rs vouchers

Three weeks back Jabong folks sent me an email with title 'Jabong Blogger's Programme' and offered to shop on their website with FREE 500 Rs vouchers. They actually wanted me to try online shopping experience on their website and share the experiences. I never trusted online shopping and wondering if I should accept this offer or not. Since I was getting free 500 Rs vouchers to try, I had nothing to loose.

So went ahead with the offer, although there was another reason for accepting this offer. Few weeks back, I had met Praveen, one of the co-founder of Jabong and it was a good opportunity for me to add some valuable feedback to his business.

After receiving voucher details, I created an account on Jabong.com. While creating an account, I noticed that  points worth 2K Rs can be earned on signing-up with Jabong.com but I was sure that it's not as simple as it sounds. After few minutes I figured that you get 2K value when you do shopping of X amount and redemption happens in chunks. Anyways, that was not my aim at all. So after logging in, I entered into SALE section. I was planning to buy floaters, so started checking appropriate options. I found a nice pair of Numero Uno within the range of couchers I had :) - 499, the magic number. But when added to the kart, I found that extra shipping charges are applicable on that.

So I had two basic doubts in my mind - which size will actually fit, as I had never user Numero Uno footwear. and second was - should I increase total bill-value beyond 500 Rs :) . Of-course, after looking at so many offers on Jabong.com, I was full greed at that point of time. So here is my first question for lovers of online shopping and Jabong team - How do I ensure the perfect size of footwear or apparels?

This confusion about size made me change my mind & then started exploring other stuff. btw, Sales in all malls are ON, so I had some idea about price ranges of different things and on comparing I found that Jabong was definitely offering better prices. But how about their shipment? Will it be on time? Will the stuff be safe? Anyways, I picked two things and placed my order. The whole process was quite simple and I picked two things because I had nothing to pay for shipment in that case, although my bill went beyond 500 rs :). But the best part was that I needed not to pay a penny at the time of placing my order. There is an option called 'Cash on Delivery', so I opted that completed the order.

I have got my stuff and feel quite fearless about online shopping now. Although I would love to hear about apparel shopping online? Share your experiences through comments...

A Photo Journey explaining this whole process would be shared soon !!!

Nice experience, and welcome to the world of Online Shopping, i was initially skeptical about shopping online, but then had no choice when i wanted to buy my 600mm from Amazon in the US, and a friend who lived there said, that they bought almost everything Online.
That was the past, i now even work as a photographer in an E-commerce website, fashionara dot com
Flipkart is one of the best examples of OL shopping in India i guess...

I do a lot of online shopping...and these days with product size and all, most of the times with big brand of online stores, its easy..what i do to stay on the safe side and avoid the tedious process of replacing the product in case it doesn't fit is that I buy from brands which i know and shop offline..so i know which sizes will fit me.
