Many Delhites think that Uttrakhand Hill-Stations are more approachable as compared to Himachal Pradesh and at times miss the weekend places which can be more enjoyable. Here came a thought of fast-track exploration around Una, which proves the old saying about 'Where there is a Will, There is a Way'. Let's know more about this plan and try to understand one of the best ways of exploring various beautiful places around one of the major Railway-Station in Himachal Pradesh (Una) ...

Let's know more about this plan and try to understand one of the best ways of exploring various beautiful places around one of the major Railway-Station in Himachal Pradesh (Una) ...One of my office friend was talking about this plan that why not take over-night train from Delhi to Una and start the exploration of beautiful hills around Dharmshala & Palampur. So two days plan looks like :- Una - Chintpurni - Jwalamukhi, Chamunda-Devi, Palampur and one second day move back to Una through Mcleodganj, Dharmshala, Masroor Monolithic Temples and Pong Dam.This whole route creates a circular & most optimal route which starts from Una & ends at same place after two days exploration of beautiful places. Again there is night train back to Delhi from Una. Chintpurni, first place to be explored is a very well know religious temple in Himachal Pradesh and lot of folks from various places in India come to this shire.Jwalamukhi is again a religious place located on the border of Hamirpur and Kangra districts of Himachal Pradesh, India. This is one of the popular religious temples of Himachal Pradesh. (We don't have Chamdunda-Devi Pics as of now and above is shaowing Bathu Temple, which can be explored on back route...)Chamunda Devi Temple is located on the way between Dharmshala & Palampur in Himachal Pradesh. This temple is really beautiful and located on the bank of a refreshing water-stream. As per plan this is last place for day-1 and then move towards Palampur for night stay. I know this is a bit aggressive route for one day, but it's all worth to enjoy such lovely places in one weekend. After night stay at Palampur, it makes sense to have a morning walk till Neugal Cafe of Palampur which gives a wonderful view of Tea-Gardens of North India. After having breakfast at Palampur, it will great to move towards Mcleodganj and explore this wonderful place, having some Tibatian Temples and different culture as compared to other regions of Himachal Pradesh. After spending some time around Mcleodganj & Bhagsunag Waterfalls, it would great to move back towards Una through Monolithic Temples of Masroor & Pong Dam.
