BIG HORN FEST 2011 - "A festival featuring ORIGINAL and Live music performances. Promoted by GigSupport Artiste Management." This Festival happened during second week of April 2011 in India Habitat Center and it continued for 6 days !!! Loaded with lots of music of various types... BIG HORN FEST - prelude 2011 was a 6 day event in India Habitat Center and here are some main highlights of this event :

During Saturday Morning of 9th April, I was chatting with one of my friend on facebook and got to know about Big Horn Fest running in IHC.. During the evening her group was planning to see live performance by Mrigya, but I couldn't join them...
Lot of media folks were here to cover the event and it seems very important event from their point of view.. Although there were very few folks during the beginning of the show... Timings of this fest was in evening although other activities could be seen during the day as it was a open amphitheater !!
On 10th Morning, one of my friend called me to plan something in the evening. He was here in Delhi for his Sarvsiksha Photography project.. since I had some information about it we though of meeting at Khan Market, spend some time in Lodhi garden and then goto IHC to witness BIG HORN FEST 2011 !!!
India At 100 does not intend to provide solutions; but recognizes India as a complex cauldron where solutions will evolve through balanced understanding and positive engagement.
In the evening we reached at IHC with out Cameras n all !!! All these performances happened at IHC amphitheater. Though we reached on time but crowd was still setting in. By the time the concert actually began, that place was packed ... people were standing on the sides, on top …everywhere.. Although I was seeing the performers first time !!!

Big Horn Fest 2011 was presented by INDIA AT 100 - A platform created by a set of concerned professionals that seeks to provide a podium for these many voices... It aims to be a forum which draws together the many hands and minds that shape the future of our cities, through communication, discussion, contemplation and then action.
The agenda of India At 100 shall be shaped by participatory processes, involving citizens, policy makers, professionals and technocrats; in short stakeholders of the city in an attempt to influence future development not as knee-jerk reactions but through comprehensive reasoning.
All the folks in these photographs were just settling down and working with organizers to set the equipments right with best possible placements of mikes and make sure that everything is in Sync with better voice clarity... They were continuously working with sound experts to make things right but it was taking lot of time.. After 20 minutes all the performers decided to g back and let the next performance begin... It was a bit disappointing for audience sitting there !!!
