Almost dreamy!! I could have stood there for hours,Here is the cross-section of the suspension cables used in the bridge. It is 36.5 inches wide containing 27,572 wires. This explains the strength. Also on the south side is a well manicured lawn for sight-seeing. The maintenance is commendable and looks as if all of this was built yesterday. Also dotting the lawns were pretty flowers. The scenery was mazing with the Golden Gate Bridge in the background. And finally, a night shot from the North Side.
