Planes @ Hongkong Airport

Hongkong International Airport is huge and it has numerous shops. You can purchase candies, chocolates, clothes, perfumes, purses, cameras, camera equipement and what not. There are several restaurants. Ofcourse, the price is at the higher side. The location of the airport is marvellous with sea at one side and hills at the other. I managed to get some good shots of planes that while waiting for my flight to the US.

Here are some of them.

You can see the people standing beneath the plane to get an idea of the scale. An Dragonair Airbus A340 getting ready. You can see the expanding air-bridge on the right. The food and fuel being filled. I was really fascinated to see all of the vehicles and machines that are used on the airports. Its all really hi-tech...In this picture, you can also clearly see the lower deck windows and the upper deck windows. The upper deck is mostly business class but can vary across airlines.
